The Fox Fellowship brings to Yale University, ‘Under the Turban’ #undertheturban, a film presented at the United Nations Association Film Festival 2016. The film screening will be followed by a response session with the ‘Under the Turban’ team, Professor Inderpal Grewal (Chair, WGSS, Prof WGSS, American Studies, and Anthropology), Harjant S. Gill (Assistant Professor of Anthropology, Sociology & Criminal Justice), Sasha Sabherwa (PhD student in American Studies at Yale), and moderated by current Yale Fox Fellow, Satveer Kaur-Gill.
