Laura Wexler’s Photogrammar Project wins ACLS Digital Extension Grant!

May 10, 2016

Laura Wexler’s Photogrammar Project has won a coveted ACLS Digital Extension Grant, one of only six awarded in the country, to continue the great work she and her Digital Humanities team have done in mapping and making accessible and searchable the 170,000 photographs made across the US in the 1930s and 1940s by the US Farm Security Administration and the Office of War Information.  Photogrammar exemplifies cutting edge, creative use of digital technologies to advance humanistic knowledge; see the description for some of the new resources and connections the grant will make accessible.  Winning the grant is a major accomplishment by one of our faculty members - congratulations to Laura!
