Event description: 

Kristin Luker is the Elisabeth J. Boalt Professor of Law and Professor of Sociology at the University of California, Berkeley.  She is also a Yale Sociology PhD and one of this year’s recipients of the Wilbur Lucius Cross Medal, awarded by Yale to outstanding PhD alumni.  Kristin will receive the award at a ceremony on October 14th.

On Tuesday October 14th she will be giving a talk, sponsored by the Sociology department.  The title is “Abortion, contraception, and the neoliberal moment” and the talk will take place in The Watson Center 60 Sachem St Room WTS A60 starting at noon and ending at 1:20.
