Event description:
The World Affairs Council and the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center are presenting a public screening of the film, Not My Life, followed by a teacher workshop on human trafficking! Members of the public are welcome to attend the FREE film screening of this powerful documentary on modern day slavery.
The teacher workshop after the screening will provide educators with information on modern slavery and ways to incorporate this information into curriculum (dinner also included at the workshop).
This is a World Affairs Councils of America program with support provided by a grant from Carlson & the Carlson Family Foundation.
