On Thursday, April 18, at 4 p.m., we will celebrate Inderpal Grewal’s work at Yale. Inderpal’s work with students is one of the major ways she shaped our world. In honor of this service, WGSS will host a round-table in which the participants will reflect on mentoring and critical university praxis. Included in the conversation moderated by Sasha Sabherwal will be Sahana Ghosh, Mimi Nguyen, Randy Ontiveros, Kaneesha Parsard, and Neha Vora. The 4 p.m. round-table at WLH Rm 309 will be followed by a reception in room 309.
Inderpal is recipient of the Graduate Mentor Award in the Humanities for 2019. The Graduate Mentor Award recognizes faculty members who have been exceptional in their support of the professional, scholarly, and personal development of their students. It is the University’s principal award for superb teaching, advising and mentoring of graduate students.
