Feminists in the University: Thinking with Inderpal Grewal

April 18, 2019
Inderpal Grewal’s work with students is one of the major ways she shaped our world. In honor of this service, WGSS hosted a round-table in which the participants reflected on mentoring and critical university praxis. Included in the conversation moderated by Sasha Sabherwal was Sahana Ghosh, Mimi Thi Nguyen, Randy Ontiveros, Kaneesha Parsard, and Neha Vora. The 4 p.m. round-table at WLH Rm 309 was followed by a reception in room 309.

Inderpal has just been awarded the Graduate Mentor Award in the Humanities for 2019. The Graduate Mentor Award recognizes faculty members who have been exceptional in their support of the professional, scholarly, and personal development of their students. It is the University’s principal award for superb teaching, advising and mentoring of graduate students.
