The James Robert Brudner ‘83 Prize, established in 2000, is awarded annually to an accomplished scholar, artist, or activist whose work has made significant contributions for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and sexual minority communities. The Yale LGBT Studies Committee and the Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies faculty are honored to present this prize to Professor M. Jacqui Alexander for 2022.
Professor Alexander’s Brudner Prize Lecture will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 4:00 PM. The event, titled “Medicine, Memory Work, Metaphysics as History,” will be held in-person at Yale University in W.L. Harkness Hall, Room 309 (100 Wall Street, 3rd Floor).
