Oriented within the English and WGSS departments, my research concerns reproductive failure, affect, and posthumanisms. Having studied the violence of social reproduction at the University of California, Berkeley, I am interested in the potential for abortion fiction to enable reparative futures, much in the tradition of queer failure. I further trouble the human’s epistemological boundaries and the reanimation of fetal personhood.
