Melina Moe

Melina works on a variety of genres in eighteenth-century British and transatlantic literature.  Her interests in the history of gender and sexuality are part of a broader interest in the literary and social practices of the self.  Her dissertation examines the courtship and marriage novels of the late eighteenth-century in the context of how changing literary forms and reading practices contributed to and reflected female subjectivity.
