Minh is a third-year doctoral student pursuing a Combined Ph.D. Program in American Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Graduate Certificate in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration. Their research generally examines everyday material cultures of decay, discard, and decomposition in the ongoing aftermath of transpacific war. Their dissertation project— tentatively entitled “Corrugated Care”—is a consideration of the cardboard box as a material, metonym, and method of U.S. empire and its many enfoldments across the 20th and 21st centuries.
